General Farm Days event questions

Q. Do I pay with cash or a card?
A. We do not accept cash or checks. We accept major debit and credit cards and mobile wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

Q. Can I get a refund for my online order?
A. All online sales are final and we are unable to offer any refunds..

Q. Is there an entry or parking fee?
A. No, entrance and parking for Farm Days events are free.

Q. What is the location of the farm? Where do I park?
A. Our farm is located on 7836 Cherry Lake Road, Groveland, FL 34736. You will follow signs for event parking

Q. Is there accessibility for disabled persons?
A. Events are handicap accessible, but there is no wheelchair accessibility to the groves. We have handicapped parking and will be as accommodating as possible, but please keep in mind this is a working farm with dirt and gravel paths.

Q. Can I bring my pets?
A. No pets allowed. Service animals covered by the ADA are welcome, however all other animals are prohibited including comfort/emotional support pets. Thank you for understanding.

Q. Are you open year-round?
A. No, we are only open to the public on select days during our Farm Days events.

Q. Do you have restrooms and baby changing tables?
A. Yes, we have both.

Q. Can I bring my drone?
A. Drones are not allowed to be flown on our farm.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes are recommended. We also recommend a hat and sunscreen.

Q. Can I buy plant material while I’m there?
A. Select plant material may be available for purchase during Farm Days events. If you want to purchase plant material you can online at cherrylakecurbside.com.

Q. What activities will you have available?
A. We have quite a few activities available for our events depending on the event type and weather. Activities we've had in the past include a bounce pad, yard games, scavenger hunts, crafts, bubble machines and more.

Food & drink questions

Q. What options do you have for food and drinks? Any alcohol?
A. Food and drink options will vary by event. At previous events we’ve had food and dessert trucks here along with specialty drinks and beer/wine available for purchase.

Q. Can I bring my own food & drinks?
A. You are welcome to bring bottled waters, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.


U-pick event questions

Q. How much does it cost?
A. $22 for a 1 gallon u-pick bucket, $36 for  2 gallons and $25 for 1 gallon pre-picked.

Q. How late can I arrive and participate in the u-pick?
A. The last ride out to the groves is at 3pm.

Q. Can I bring a stroller or wagon into the grove?
A. Yes, you are welcome to bring it to the grove as long as you can fold them to fit securely onto the farm ride trailer that takes you to the grove. Keep in mind, the groves have rough terrain with a mix of grass, dirt and clay roads.

Q. What are the less crowded times to come?
A. We anticipate our busiest time of day will be around 11 am - 2 pm.

Q. Can I eat the tangerines in the field?
A. Due to their limited quantity, you cannot eat the tangerines in the field.

Q. How many pieces of fruit fit in each bucket?
A. This can vary quite a bit depending on the size of the fruit you pick. Typically you can get around 30-40 pieces per gallon.

 

Citrus questions

 

Q. What variety of citrus is available?

A. The tangerines are a Florida variety that is low seeded, easy to peel, super sweet and juicy.

Q. Are your tangerines organic?
A. No, our fruit is not designated as organic.

Q. How do I conserve my fruit?
A. We recommend you store your tangerines in the fridge so they stay fresh and yummy.
